Hands on, meaningful activities help your students zoom in on small moment. Students will learn to add detail and development to write zoomed-in pieces! In this unit, students will read books with zoomed-in moments and discuss what the other did to zoom in, brainstorm small moments to write about, identify the different types of details writers add to their writing, and try out these strategies to explode a moment in her own writing. Activities are hands-on and authentic and include step by step plans!
