Week Two: Past-Tense verbs

Week Three: Future-Tense Verbs

Week Four: Plural Nouns

Week Five: Compound Subjects

Week Seven: Compound Sentences

Week Eight: Complex Sentences (subordinate clause first)

Week Nine: Complex Sentences (subordinate clause last)

Day One: Sentence strips to cut and glue into a notebook

Day Two: Grammar hunt tables to cut and glue into a notebook

Day Three: Word/phrase cards to cut out and manipulate, and a handout to practice the skill (with answer key included)

Day Four: Dictation – what do we check for?

Day Five: Sample sentences to use as models, and a three- to four- question quiz on the skill, in Texas Writing test format.
