Interactive Read Aloud Signs for Reading Comprehension

Description

Easy to prep signs to use during read alouds or any reading lesson. Use these signs to set a purpose for the lesson, provide students with a visual for the strategy or skill, and have them respond using academic language. Once the skill or strategy has been introduced, you can use the signs for independent reading, partner work, or reading stations/centers.

There are two sets of signs included in this resource, along with book suggestions and tips and ideas for using the read aloud signs. Each sign includes an image on the front to help students remember their purpose for reading. On the back are tips for students about the definition of their sign and a sentence frame to use when they are sharing their evidence from the read aloud.
