Mentor Sentences Notebook includes nine weeks of grammar instruction and all the tools you’ll need to make it stick! These tools have made a difference in my students’ writing! I know they’ll make a difference in yours! By bridging the grammatical skills in context to revision and editing in a testing format, students will learn what’s important about grammar instruction as well as how to apply it in a variety of contexts.
This is the fourth product in the series. The sentences and skill work in this product rely on students’ understanding of lessons taught in the first three nine weeks’ units. It is recommended that you begin with the first nine weeks unit (a focus on grammar) and then move on to the 2nd, a focus on punctuation and capitalization, and 3rd nine weeks, which focuses on spelling patterns and grammar review.
