This is the second resource in the series. The sentences and skill work in this product rely on students’ understanding of lessons taught in the first nine weeks unit. It is recommended that you begin with the first nine weeks unit (a focus on grammar) and then move on to this product, which includes a focus on more grammar, punctuation, and capitalization, and then the 3rd nine weeks, which focuses on spelling patterns and grammar review.
