Writing Center Dice: Creative Story Starters

Description

Printable, buildable dice to help kids get started writing creative stories! Each die has six different starters; one on each side. Students roll the dice and write using the sentence starter on the side of the dice that faces up. Easy to start writing station!

For each season/holiday included in the bundle, there is a creative story starter die and a perspective writing die.

Story Starter Dice: the child rolls the die and reads the starter on the die. They continue the story, using their imaginations!

Perspective Writing Dice: the child rolls the die and reads the object/person on the die. They write a story from that perspective on the die.

Alternate idea: descriptive writing! The student writes a descriptive piece about that object/person on the die.

Great for writing centers or stations, or quickwrites!
