Four place value math centers give students practice in matching different ways to represent place value to the hundreds, rounding three-digit numbers, completing number lines with different intervals, and building the largest six-digit number possible.

Draw a card. Six-digit numbers are written in number form, word form, and expanded notation. Match it to the correct number on your board by changing the number into another form. Color in the correct number on your board.

Many, Many Mittens: Rounding three-digit numbers to the nearest hundred and ten

Draw a mitten card and round the number to the nearest hundred, or to the nearest ten.

Draw a number line strip. Two- and three-digit numbers included. Complete the number line according to the pattern of increasing numbers. Pattern intervals include numbers 2 – 20.

Use the spinner to build six-digit numbers. Compete with your partner to to build the largest number to the hundred thousands place. Includes spinner, number cards, and place value mats for scaffolding.
